Home Thoughts from Dubai was created in 2005 when the Author, and ex-banker came to Dubai to work for the Dubai Government in its infant Financial Services Centre. The Blog, which started off as weekly, was a communication tool to his many family, friends and business colleagues around the Planet.
It initially addressed life in Dubai but developed into a weekly smorgasbord of fun, views/opinions and observations on happenings around the political, financial world and news events that maybe do not get full or appropriate coverage. Obviously these views and opinions are as seen through the Author’s eyes and may sometimes challenge ‘popular opinion’. The Blog attempts to be different and mixes humour with serious views on matters that are or should be of interest to every one of us.
The Blog has now, due to work challenges, become a monthly affair but hopefully has not lost the appeal that at one stage saw weekly viewing ‘hits’ in excess of 9,000. So enjoy and the Author would really appreciate your feedback and comments.
